Launching a new brand is a complex process for any large organization; everything has to be just right. For launch event, this means ensuring the creation and execution of visual assets and stage programming meets the moment, inspiring and energizing launch attendees. For the “Taking Care of What Matters” launch in April 2023, Mississippi State University looked inward for creative and production expertise, recognizing the creativity of the TV Center’s creative services unit to be equal to the private industry options on the market. Working with high level university administrators, the center proposed distinct creative appoaches and motifs for multiple launch assets and outlined the launch event program. Working on short deadlines meant long days in shooting locations across the state; the center staff delivered on-time and under budget to the satisfaction of the client. The event itself was flawless and is a shining example of the ways the university and the Television Center are Taking Care of What Matters.
