A longtime partner of the university Television Center, the Mississippi Farm Bureau Federation knew the only way to celebrate 100 years of existence was to go big. This meant a bigger audience in a bigger space, with the largest show expectations in a century. The federation reached out to the TV Center for help conceptualizing, producing, and executing the four day event at the Mississippi Trade Mart in Jackson. The center identified key vendors, developed the stage blocking and flow sheets to match the federation-provided script, and produced onstage and broadcast graphic design elements that matched the event’s printed collateral. The event concluded without a hitch; a once-in-a-lifetime landmark event with which the TV Center was proud to assist.
